First let me say i searched and i found a few threads but all the pictures are missing.

I am trying to get the damn rear 02 sensor pin out..... I have been messing with this thing for over an hour and i don't want to mangle the connector anymore then it is lmao....

I tried sticking the screwdrive in the front and pushing down, up and every which way same thing from the back. This little sucker is pretty much going to make me go insane if i can't get it out!!!!!

So any help will be appreciated. Thank you!

 

Bump, Tried messing with it again today. no luck.....

Pretty sad i can do everything else on this car but can't take out this simple pin.....

 

Post #85 shows a pic that might help ya out...not sure though...Not positive if it's for an Evo 8 but it might be.

Easier if you have an actual pin removal tool but I'm sure you can figure it out with something other than a screwdriver... try the miniature screwdrivers used for eyeglasses, sun glasses.

Thanks for the reply, i have been using a mini screwdriver, pins and what not lol. I have tried prying it, maybe i just need to go at it again with a relaxed attitude. I've been looking everywhere for pictures like that!

I found that thread as well blacktab420 ... Unfortunately the links no longer work otherwise I would have posted them as well. There may be some good info you can find in the actual thread itself.

 

Yeah i have read countless amounts of links everywhere all seem to lead to a dead end. Just tried again no luck.

I think i molested it to a point where its pretty stuck in there.

Sooooooo not to sure what to do. fml

I might just buy that pin removal tool and pray it can solve my problems.

Thanks for all the help guys, and still if someone has some to the point instructions it would be great. I am guessing i have to lift that tab up. Too bad i pretty much destroyed it...

HOLY **** I GOT IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to pry that white tab on the bottom and it came right the **** out when i pushed down on the tab!!!!!!! HOLY ****T I GOT IT!
