Went to start up the car last week, starts up, runs for about 2 seconds, and then cuts off. There is no code. I go to turn it over and it cranks but no start. All the lights are fine. I wait 5 minutes starts and runs. WTF. Help gurus-- it has happened about 4 times.

 

Mine did this before when my MAP sensor was loose or unplugged

 

I have a 3 bar. I'll check it.

 

3 bar is on tight.

Speak of the devil.... no sh*t just got p0107 on my way to shoppers food warehouse and back. I swear......

 

So I'm going to hit the plug with electrical cleaner? Is there a chance the MAP is dying? I just don't think so but I think the wrong thing sometimes lol

 

So how often does the MAP go bad. I have a 3 Bar. Would extra boost... say 26psi crush up my 3 bar? I doubt it but any question is worth asking.
