Engine break up at WOT

Hypothetically speaking, I might be racing a zr1 and I pulled in 3rd, pulled hard through 4th and pulled through 5th but encountered problems around 6k. Running 2.3 3586hta on 93. Gas was garbage. In 5th I started breaking up around 6k WOT and the engine started to pull timing and the wastegate (tial 44) starting popping. Needless to say, this (May have) happened, the zr1 crushed me at 120mph. I running stock ecu iridium one step gapped .24. Time for coil on plug? Never had problems wot. I'm running SD and was running uphill and made an elevation change to make the ears pop. Time for COP?

That's my guess. The 92 may have been 89

.24 is too large of a gap for anything past stock boost. Gap the plugs tighter. Mine are .19. Spark plugs could have been blowing out.

From: 3rd Rock {from = sun}
Get a new set of plugs and gap em down to 0.020"
Then "hypothetically" go ZR1 hunting .
Hope nothing bad happened.

I'm getting a noncdi cop and e85 in the next couple of weeks. I'll be back in the hunt. Looks like 5th gear wgdc were never set. Was only tuned through 3rd
