Motor sounds like rod knock. Car starts but won't stay running when throttle is applied. No cel light, not oil light on. I checked all wires and all are firing. Any other ideas? Spun rod bearing? Injectors maybe not spraying? They are 950cc fic probably have 1000 miles on them. Help please!!!

 

drain the oil and check for metal, you can also cut open the oil filter.

 

So no metal in oil.

 

Post a video? Did the timing belt skip some teeth and I've got valve to piston noise?

 

Ill figure out how to post a video. What is strange is I took my valve cover off because it was scuffed and I sprayed it. Put it back in and boom nothing but problems

 

Id pull that filter off and cut it open just to make sure. When my motor spun a bearing in August, I drained the oil at first and really couldnt see any metal. Then I pulled the filer and hacked it open, all kinds of metal in there.
