Evo VIII questions

So there is this 2005 Evolution VIII (dont know if its a mr or gsr Dealer says its a mr but looks like it has plastidipped gsr wheels, the door was locked couldnt see if it was a 5 or 6 speed so interior condition un known right now). 109,500 miles wing doesnt look to be the original, the body is straight the front bumper though is chewed up pretty well because of guessing rock chips. wouldnt let me see under the hood. im not sure if its been in a wreck or not i asked him about it and he just started to rush me that he needed to be some where. the dealer is asking $13,000, I dont think its worth that. (and this dealer is well a douche bag and has lied about vehicle info to make the "extra buck" before.) so im wanting to see what the community that actually drives these models to put their opinion in on what its worth ect. Ill try and upload some pictures later today of the car. the only reason im bothering with this guy is because san angelo tx doesnt get very many evos especially older ones. (our Mitsubishi dealer ship doesnt even sell evo x's here anymore [Not enough demand for them here]) thanks in advance

NADA lists a GSR right around that price range for privet sellers with out the millage taken into account (link below). If its got a clean history it could be a good buy if all other things check out ie interior, under the hood etc...

I'd just try and get a test drive in and have a trusted shop give it once over but would other wise have no problems with that price. But then again they all look good when compared to how I got my most recent one haha

so went back found out its only been in 3 scuffs really minor ones at that didn't get to test drive it, but started it up guy couldn't figure out why his idling was so erratic come to find out some one just cut the hose to the diverter valve so it was just venting to atmosphere and cause the car to idle like crap any time you revved it. talked for a bit found out he actually wanted pretty much $18,000 for the car and found out its a gsr not an Mr, the wing is a fiberglass copy not the original. interior is pretty clean, but for $18,000 no thanks that's effing ridiculous.

I agree in most circumstances. Honestly it sounds like a headache, you can find evos with less mileage than that, better condition for less. Just might have to travel to get it.

He sounds so damn sleazy. Someone "mis-heard" him say 13k? I'm pretty sure he was "mis-heard" when he saw you interested in the Evo.
