Car cranks...Cranks....Starts...Then Wtf??

Hello

So as of yesterday morning my car has been acting strange... I start the car and seems like every morning or after car has not been driven for maybe 7 hours I try and start the car and it cranks for a bit then I hit gas then it finally starts..

Car starts vibrating more than usual, UEGO AFR Reads 16.0 then all of a sudden goes
" ------- " and just stays like that.. I hit the gas an the pedal feels heavy. Once the car WARMS UP. Car runs fine and idle goes back to around 14.2-14.9 bouncing around those numbers..

I am running e85. Also my service engine light had come on with code "P0134" I did reset the light and it has not come back on..

What the hell is going on with my car? Ever since I upgraded all my parts its like HELL

^^^Sounds like you need to modify the cold start table in the ECU. My tuner adjusted mine after converting & now it fires on the 1st or 2nd crank during the winter

Add the tables in this thread: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...cv-tables.html

It will be the tables labeled 1 & 2 for fuel is what you will use the most. Start adding fuel until you're happy with the start up. e85 takes a lot more fuel than most people think it will, especially on very cold mornings. Follow the instructions in that thread and you'll be good.

**** man my tuner just recently adjusted my car again because the car kept shutting off as I was driving.. Now that problem is gone but now I cant turn the car on in the mornings without it dying 6 times. lol.. I have no way of accessing those tables I dont have the software to run it.. Ill speak to my tuner again.

Thank you to all of you guys.

With a proper tune it should always fire up without hesitation

Yes, you can compensate with a proper tune. Doesn't change the fact that E85 doesn't play well with the cold... Kinda like diesel fuel.

I agree.. Because the cold affects the fuel..

I was thinking of grabbing a match and throwing it in the gas tank too warm the fuel up a bit before cranking the car. Or dropping warm water in there. Cause this **** is annoying an embarrassing at times feels like im driving a Honda when I crank at a restaurant or something.
