6266 questions

I just recently purchased a 6266 t4 DBB and i will be rebuilding my engine @ Evo Dynamics. Curious if i should go 2.0L or 2.3L? Also what each will do for me. Im leaning towards 2.0L but i dont know everything so not sure yet.

From what ive gather the 2.0 will rev higher and have more whp but less tq. anything else i should know?

2.3L will spool the turbo faster and be nicer to drive out of boost

Depends on what you use the car for, for street and road racing, the 2.3l will work best especially if the turbo is twin scroll. For drag and overall faster straight line, a 2L and non-twin scroll is best. No use in giving up a few thousand RPM up top for a few hundred RPM faster spool in drag.

I would do the 2.3 then, that's what I have with a 62mm turbo and it does nice on the street.

I have a 6266 and went with the 2.4 long rod. Spool is ridiculous and pulls hard all the way up top.

A 2.3l would help with the spool
