Just got done switching out the cam angle sensor on my 05 Evo8MR hoping that it would cure my p0300 code for multiple misfire. And the light has not went away. I know another sensor I need to be checking is the knock sensor. So I will place an order on that but is there anything else that might cure the code ? Seen a lot of guys have just cleared this code but I want it fixed clearing it will come back to haunt me in the long run I'm sure.

Had this problem on my 9, on idle I would have little pops and burps from the exhaust, and a multiple misfire code as well as a cylinder 1 misfire, got new injectors and it runs awsome now,

I have the same issue, on idle I can feel it pops and burps but not aggressive. I have to look into injectors and get them check out. BTW does ur car has studder problem at around 3k, no load?

Search p0300 disable test. See if you are a good canidate. If you have no other issues and drive an Evo 8 it could be an easy fix. It worked for me and many others. I have not thrown the code since. I used to get it constantly at about 3000 rpm while cruising. GL.
