based on the above pix, anyone know FOR SURE if on the circle labeled 1 that there is a boost restrictor pill inside the tube like 1 inch from the openning? That side is connected to the stock boost solenoid and i pinched the ball size hard piece like 1 inch inside that openning.

#2= on the red circle 2 where there is that clamp that hold the other restrictor pill.....mine doesnt have that clamp where i circled. Does that mean its missing the restrictor pill there? i cant take it apart or reach enough to pinch and feel it cuz it require alot of removing. Anyone know for sure?

I am 100% sure there is boost pill inside the circle 1. I removed mine once before and car didn't boost above the 10 psi.

 

how about #2? would no clamp there indicate there being NO pill?

 

just feel around, you'll notice it

smarter thing would be to just replace the vacuum lines with new ones so you're sure there's no pill in there

 

+1. There should be another pill inside the circle 2. I believe different size of pill.

...it's literally 3 pieces of vacuum line. Take one off, measure it, cut new one the length, put it back on. repeat twice more

 

You wouldn't need the clamp. The pill is IN THERE and to remove it you'd need to absolutly destroy the pipe. Give it a squeeze (mine was in the very center).

 

uea i figured i didnt need the clamp but in the reference pix i saw that they said a clamp is there to hold it in place....so i thought that since i didnt have one there it might not have the pill.... i still uavent checked it yet. its hard to reach
