Military + Evo's = Questions
To make what everyone is telling you make some real life sense, why don't you try and for the first couple months take as much from your paycheck as the car payment and insurance would be. It is a pretty big shock!
E-4p married, w/ bills, still manage the car payments, and the wife still has play-money after I am done grabbing parts and whatnot.
And I also own a 300zx TT and a rx-7 (sales pending on both because of deployment = new turbo & clutch)

Damn! The younger E's are getting paid real nice nowadays if they can get an EVO. Hell, between E-1 to E-3, I didn't own a car..but then again that was back 12 yrs ago. I didn't get a nice car until last year (O-2E) lol
To the guys from Minot...how does the Evo handle there during the winters? How do you guys wash your car,etc in that extreme cold?

but then again i have BAH on top of that i can work with too
i just dont see it happening tho unless he's getting dependant pay, a phat *** BAH and paying almost nothing for rent. if single he's in the barracks so idk how he'll do it
22k isn't bad. Like Carloverx said, you would have paid that back then on the SRT4.
If you would have joined the Marines, you would have been able to walk to the Stealership, kick the door in, take the Evo for 15k with free services for life, And got a free night with the salesmans daughter!
Just kidding man, my little brother is in the Air Force (I'm a Jar Head) so we always give each other a hard time.
BTW, congrats on the purchase.

How are you liking the Evo?
Not too hard. I get about $700 every paycheck (E4 w/ 2 years TIS). $300 of it goes to carpayment/insurance. Leaves me with about $800 a month to play with.
Gotta remember, I only paid $22k out the door for the car, not the $25k+ that you paid a few years ago.
P.S. The Evo is pretty nice in the snow, so long as you're using snow-tires. Summer tires FTL...
