Opinions on Damage

Hello EvoM. I recently purchased a ported throttle body and intake manifold from another member on here and received it today. Upon inspection (so far) I have noticed there is some damage to the throttle body. It was not like this in the pictures he sent before the sale, but I suspect this is due to his poor packaging of only a few towels in a box that has 60% of its space unoccupied.

My question is, does this dent look like it will effect anything or am I ok? It protrudes out maybe the same thickness as 1.5-2 quarters (coins) on top of each other . Will this effect performance or am I ok?

Below are pics of his packaging job (everything that came in the box), WHAT A JOKE.

If that's the only damage that the TB incurred, then you're fine. It might not be nice to look at but its not going to affect the performance. If you really want you can take some fine grit sand paper and smooth it out a bit...but its not really needed.

It's just an eye sore, won't hurt performance. I spent hundreds of hours flow testing at a race shop I worked at previously, and that will have no measurable affect.
