Its not RPM's or HP that snaps rods on the Evo its TQ. Keep it below 450. Hell I would even say closer to 400 and the stock block will stay together provided you aren't doing anything stupid.

Its stll safe no problem. Im on 180k miles with stock head and block other than s2 cams. 27psi on e85 @370hp

Thanks for the numbers, I will be sure to watch out for that. I assume a sharp torque spike is bad as well, even if I'm not running much torque?

Don't forget, majority of dynos down under use dynodynamics. As you stated tq. below 400 is key.
