Advice on set up

Hey everyone,

First time poster here but I use these forums religiously for answers and you guys are great.

I'm looking for a few answers to put the final pieces of my set up puzzle to rest. I just ordered a sleepy FF twin scroll 6266 kit. I'm on a stock bottom and top end.

List of current mods:
Full TBE
Boomba 75mm throttle body
Ets lower and upper ICP
Tial Recirc BOV
Stock front mount
Shep stage 2 tcase
AEM boost controller

I have already purchased a sheepy front mount. I plan on having 2 tunes for 93 and e85. I also plan on grabbing some gsc2 cams, gsc springs and retainers, slim radiator, twin disk clutch, upgraded FPR and fuel lines. Basically, what I'm looking for is some predictions of what kind of numbers I can expect to be around. I'm looking for some advice on injector and fuel pump size as well as any other relevant mods I may need/want.

Thanks in advance!

Fic 1650 injectors and a BR double pumper. You will be limited to 400 tq due to stock bottom end but should be over 500 whp. You will probably want to do head studs as well.

I have a ets twin scroll 6266 kit. I like it alot. I would go ahead and get FIC 2150 injectors so you have plenty of fuel when you decide to build the bottom end. Get a fuel rail as well. BR double pumper. Should be over 500 hp easy.

Thanks for the advice all! I was definitely considering a double pumper and I've been talking to frank about getting 1600 low imp injectors. Definitely doing head studs as well and staying under 400 wtq!

400tq/500hp will be your cap.

But you will have a very nice setup!

Double pumper (Do a bushur with twin 255 or a full blown kit)

Not 100% neccesary but I would start looking into increasing fuel line diameter. AN lines look nice too =]

Precision turbos are always my recommendation.

Stay away from the 1600cc injectors from FIC. The old style low impedance shut down at high fuel pressure ask me how I know and the new style are like $900. Get 2150cc and you will have room to grow. Skip on the S2 cams and go to S3 if your going to do springs and retainers. Idle will be a little lopy but the top end power is worth it. Bigger cam will allow to make decent power on less boost and timing.

Thanks for the solid input. I will look into the 2150s. If I were to go hi-imp with the 1600s would that work better? I want power but I want to be safe as well. I don't plan on pushing out more power until my motor is built which probably won't be for a while. I feel like 2150s are too much injector

2150 is not too much injector for any application if tuned by the right tuner. The thing is you can take a big injector and tune it to a safe 500hp but you cant take injectors rated at 500hp and make 600 (basically you can tune below injector limits but you cant tune beyond their limits).

look for some used ones and then get them cleaned. I saved 200 bucks doing it that way!
