Not sure what it is, but when you get inside theres this sweet sort of plastic vinyl smell, is it the seats? or carpet?

Every car I've ever owned, the new car smell goes away after a few years and you dont really smell anything

Being south of the equator the smells tend to permeate the insides of cars while, north of the equator the smells escape. Everyone knows that, like the swirl of the toilets reversing. Some things are not worth the trouble.

Yes!! I get this same smell on occasion! I'm glad someone else has it too haha I have no idea what it is exactly but a "sweet plastic/vinyl smell" is how I would describe it as well.

YES! I thought I was crazy, it's smelled that way since day 1.

 

I still have that smell after 12 years!
