Should I get an ayc light on dash at start up? I don't...

As above. Evo 4 Gsr. Has ayc but no light on dash.

Should there be one?

Car has questionable past and diff has been replaced previously.

Check if bulb is still present people used to take out the bulbs behind cluster to "hide" this problem.. hope this isnt the case.

Does your abs light come on?

Yes. I believe abs light does come on.

Not driving car atm due to so many faults so will check when I get home tonight but sure it does. I dash cluster hard to remove. I have half of it out anyway tbf.

Do you know much about the wiring on these cars as I have a bunch of earth's taped up under dash??!!!!

yes the lights should come on and after a few seconds go off and stay off.
