Is going catless worth it?
Most people do, that's why I always add "IMO". My tastes differ from most people. I like my cars to sounds clean and efficient. I go nuts when I hear a minor exhaust leak. Dumps are that x 1,000 LOL
Its definitely a personal preference. I just feel bad for all the miata's at the track when I pass them. The annoying civic/frs driver on the street not so much
Yes, it will be a seperate pipe. However DC Sports makes a downpipe/test pipe combo.

The "improvement" will depend on the individual setup, but if we are talking a factory cat then it will certainly be a double digit hp improvement. The stock cat is very restrictive aside from the actually catalyst element, the opening at the flanges isn't even 2.75". If we are talking High flow cat to no cat then that would depend on how good the high flow cat is.
