How can anyone talk about SSAuto where all of the fab ideas on the Evo has been stolen and reproduced in some way or another. The equal runner manifold has been out for well over 50 years now. The O2 dump was done on early turbo muscle cars and don't even get me on exhaust. Don't flame this guy because he cant afford or is too smart to buy the $400 dump when he can get it for $160. I used the complete SS Auto full turbo kit with gt35r knockoff turbo, back in 2006 when they came out and was clowned the entire time I was doing it until I snapped an 11.1@125 on my first pass with the kit. Kit is still on the car and turboed lasted 60k miles before it emploded. Guess how many FP turbos I sent back before 5k miles on them (3 of them). I get that people earn a living making this stuff and it cuts into profit when it is copied and sold cheaper but that's America is built on trust me I know. Finding the lowest bidder is part of what I do for a living and believe me Uncle Sam has no loyalty when it comes to buying stuff for the military.

How do I know, my buddy R/TErnie and I were one of the first people to develop a quality O2 dump for this platform and after we weighed how much materials were and what people were willing to pay, we bowed out...

Cliffs: EVOM is a bunch of lowballing, I want stuff for the cheapest price and don't care where its made, no loyalty to a company/shop cause you can get it $.50 cheaper online type douchebaggery
Yea, Im sure you might profit more but lowering the price and more people buying it. For example e85..... NAME 1 PERSON that is complaining about the price? Just 1..... All im saying is, an o2 dump shouldn't cost as much as manifold in my opinion.

Im pretty sure if 2 evos were for sale. Both in top condition but one is $5,000 less, you would by the less expensive one. Same applies here.

SS Autochrome/XS Power O2 Dump Review

My O2 dump cost less than half of a decent manifold. Idk what manifold worth buying is $400, unless it's the FP cast manifold. But it's a cast peice, so the price can't really be compared to a fab'ed tubular manifold...

Anyway you slice it, $160 for an O2 is cheap material and labor. Also, is the wastegate opening in the flange contour machined, or is it just a hole that makes a bunch of turbulence?

I'm going to say it's not contoured, since in the pics the flange looks like it was pulled right off the water jet and I think all the contoured ones are cnc'd

7th item from top Mani fold and down pipe now cost $450 (I paid like $300 back in 06)

http://www.ssautochrome.com/level.itml/icOid/1359
First Item GT3583r $279

I sourced all the other little stuff from ebay but all in all the car made over 500 and was a beast back in 06 before E-85. Now I cant tell you that this kit be better than any other kit but I can say from the years of using SS Auto they have always helped me out when eve I had any issues.

I'll keep that in mind if my FP Black blows up and I'm broke!
