Lost every gear
i was driving went to put it in 4th and lost every gear had to have it towed home. What are yalls opinions on what broke the clutch is fine and shifter linkage is fine evert person i talk to says it shouldnt be transmission by how it sounded but thats the only thing left please help before i spend the money to have my tranny tore apart
Seems like you have a clutch issue, get the car into a open space like nothing in front of you put it in 1st gear push the clutch and try and start it if it jerks foward (hopefully it didn't start) your clutch is toast, well your clutch or the slave or master but if the pedal feels normal it's the pressure plate not releasing correctly. Have some one push the clutch before hand and make sure it travels correctly looking at the salve cylinder

Is there transmission fluid all over the place?
