Evoscan missing rpms

Hey all,
Started my first logs and am noticing an issue and would love some help. I searched a bit with a few posts asking about it but no resolution.

1.3u cable
Evoscan 2.9

Logging: RPM, Timing, Fuel Trim in Use, o2 Feedback, Load 1b, Knock, Wideband, Injector Pulse, Inj Duty, MAP, Air Temp, Air Volume, WG Duty, WG Correction, Load Error.

Laptop windows 7 i7

Ok here is the issue. During a wot pull it stops logging after 6500-7500 until I go into decel then the log continues. So I am missing 4ish seconds in the log.

Any thoughts on how to fix this? Log is just fine except for when I get into higher rpms.

Thanks!
Chad

troubleshoot

I would troubleshoot it to narrow down what the problem is. Try the same cable on a different laptop, then if it doesn't get any better then try it on someone elses car.

How many data points do you normally log every second? Probably unlikely but if you are logged a really low number it's possible you just didn't get a data point logged in the time you were in that RPM range. Look at your log to see what you logged in the pull up to where you didn't get data. If you had an entry at 4k and an entry at 5500 for example you might be experiencing slow logging.

If you hold the car steady in that 6500-7500 range in say a lower gear like 1st or 2nd does it log at all?

Thats a good question. I can check that once I go back out with a new tune. Trying to get the psi to 25 on 91 pump . Hopefully I will hear back from Devin today!

how many log samples per second are you getting? It will give you a reading just above the big yellow/green connection window.

I never see near as many in my log as what it says I'm getting. Mine says over 100 and I only see about a tenth of what it says.
