Question about dash panel

After the Mitsubishi dealer went through my dash with a jackhammer for the recall (first picture), I want to see if anyone knows the part # for this piece (second picture). I also want to know if this piece is readily/easily detachable from the rest of the dash? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Its not detachable, you would be replacing basically the whole dash minus some trim pieces.

This is mine when i pulled it out of the car for hvac repair. http://imgur.com/aK5upN8

My car has been back to the dealership 3 times for the damage they did to my car, and was hoping to avoid them at all costs. Is there any way to wet sand the piece so at least the gouges they left wont be so noticeable?

You can have it repaired if you can find the right guy/company.

This is exactly why I choose to not have this recall performed.
