Mod opinions
Looking to mod my car soon and I'd like some thoughts on what I may do. I have 5k on oem bottom end, 9k on shep rebuilt trans, 88k on body, heads, tcase, and rear diff current mods are buschur v-band 3" tbe with hfc, gsc s1 cams, walbro 255lph, cop spoolin up kit, hallman mbc, hks intake with amsoil filter, ix dv, upper and low icp, dc3 catch can, streetlite flywheel, and act xtss clutch tuned to 23 psi and 305/305 on a mustang dyno
I've been thinking get a vta O2 housing, catless test pipe (pita to find in v-band), GS 3-port ebcs, and possibly and ix turbo. Today i was thinking well why not go fp green, aftermarket exhaust manifold (probably toxic fab), and speed density.
The car is my daily and plan to race autocross during the summer and I'd like to keep it as such and reliable. My question would be is there a point to upgrading the turbo to an fp green or even at all to an ix turbo? Also, if i do go fp green would i need any other supporting mods (injectors)? Or should I worry about other things before upgrading the turbo? Given my goals, of course. Thanks!

given ur mods, you are not going to fair well in autox. your in Street Mod aka deep pockets.
ebcs is great, so is the 9 turbo. everything depends on what your trying to get out of it.
if your planning to autox, i would just leave it as is for now and just try it out. you will soon see bone stock evo's destroying your time. even old 89 civics with 90 hp killing it out there.
i think your better off doing suspension mods, getting tires and just a lot of seat time.
my 2 cents.

jonno, unfortunately, e85 is impossible for me to daily where im lotcated. Those mods would be nice but, would I be using them to their full potential and be reliable? My point in asking that is, could I get reliable power for cheaper (not by buying cheap parts but by downsizing what you suggested)?
Sujin, Im well prepared to be out driven lol. First thing I'm doing next summer is getting in car lessons. I have a little suspension and brake work done, ferodo ds2500 pads all around dba 5000 slotted upfront, dba 4000 slotted in the rear, SS lines, gt works springs (lowered about 3/4"), bilstien HD struts, rs trunk bar, 17x8.5 rpf1s on 245mm dunlop starspecs. Thats just a place where i'd like to get the engine before i begin to work on the suspension but I get where your coming from.
Thanks for the responses guys!

maybe look into suspension if not upgraded yet. the stock turbo imo is best for autocross. especially the 8 turbo with the 9.8. anymore lag than that will probably hurt you.
