Just wondering if this lifter tick sounds normal for my setup. Setup buschur racing 272s, Supertech dual valve springs, Ferrea super alloy valves i'm running 20w50 oil and the tick doesn't get wore as i raise the RPMs.

 

It sounds pretty good to me.

 

Sounds good to me also have heard alot worse I also have a fully built engine with zero tick lifters and you can still here them go figure I think your good

 

Thanks for the info yeah i don't think it sounds to bad either but it's a little louder in prison and kinda annoying. Yesterday extreme psi had a good deal on zero tick lifters so i bought them. i would hate to wast an hour putting them in if its just going to tick the same way because of the big cams dual valve springs and lightweight valves might just be the nature of the beast.

 

sounds like big cams I had the same springs in my other head before a certain shop destroyed it. I have gsc r2's now and the gsc springs arent quite as noisy.

 

Sounds normal.
