I have a 03 evo 8 and out of nowhere my car will make boost to 20lbs like it was before (normal) and engine won't get up and go just barely accelerates at all very slow to none pick up need help replaced the fuel pump and still have the same issue.

sludge, could be the years of sludge and it stuck the engine is stuck.

Changed the spark plugs already?
Try NGK BR8ES and gap it to 0.55 mm.

 

It indicated 20 psi on the boost gauge and the car still not performing? Is it stock? trying to piece together your info.

 

Car has bolt on mods intake manifold throttle body exhaust intercoolet piping headers that's bout it but I haven't had a issue had all the parts on for months but yes the gauge reads fine goes to 20psi let off bov works but engine doesn't increase rpm like it should it's like a snail

So the car boosts but it's not accelerating? How the fueling looking? How's it idling? Compression is good?

 

Yes and just replaced the fuel pump idle is below 1,000 and rough

 

Any particular reason why you replaced the fuel pump? What was the old fuel pump? what is the new one?

 

Had a guy who is a mechanic told me to when I told him what was goin on and I got a walboro 255

 

You need to find out what's going on at the point of the problem. I would advise against swapping parts that you think are causing the problem. Get as much data as you could to diagnose the problem instead of reacting to symptoms. You need to get diagnostics done to see what the fueling is while driving. MAF, MAP, injectors, knock sensor etc could be culprit. You have some digging to do.
