Srs light on - which side sensor

First off, thanks to the OP of the Electrical Gremlins! I finally found why my headlights flicker and act like its possess. After, I re-wire the connector, all lights, wiper are now working good. When I initially disconnect the connector, I forgot to disconnect the battery. So after disconnecting the battery and finishing up the wiring I ended up with a SRS Light ON. Which is expected as per the thread.

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...how-fix-6.html

When it was scanned - I got 1B Front IMPACT Sensor Left Open. Does anyone know which color wire would cause this SRS alarm to turn ON. I think I did the soldering ok because all electrical gremlins went away. Would this be driver side or passenger side sensor? Would me failing to disconnect the battery initially, can cause the sensor to go bad?

Please help.

Thank you

I thought the SRS light, once it comes on, is latched until reset.

An auto shop tried to reset it for me, the SRS light blinks and but still was ON. So, I am not sure if which wire is OPEN or if the Sensor is bad. Do you know which sensor is 1B Front Impact Sensor 2 is? Is that the Driver side or Passenger side? I need wanted to check all my connection but not sure which color wire is open that would cause this.

Its 1B Front Impact Sensor 2 or Sensor Left Open is the DTC code. Is this Driver or Passenger side? What wire color is it associated with? And would there be a fuse for the airbag?

Left side means left side looking forward. Light green and green according to my 2003 shop manual.

Problem FIX!..Thanks barneyb! Just for everyone, the SRS Light is the G and LG wire on the smaller bottom connector (black connector on IX MR) that has only 2 wires on it. The back connector has 3 wires connected - extra red wire that is not connected to anything - fyi. While its looks decent on the front, when I disconnected it the back G wire connector corroded and it broke making an open connection. I rewire those 2 wire ( G and LG) and after clearing the SRS lights its good now!
