Crazy light trunk skin

Worked this up over the last weekend. 3Lb carbon trunk skin. Stupid light. Gotta be the lightest drag racing trunk out there.

That does look pretty damn good. What does the underside look like. Is it likely to flex at speed

it will flex a bit since its a skin and super light. i reinforced some areas to add rigidity.

I'm guessing if you wanted to use a spoiler with this trunk lid you'd have to attach it directly to the chassis.

Yes. this was designed for drag cars. But you could use it iwth a track car if it was chassis mounted and still get the advantages of the low weight.
