ok cool, just wanted to make sure it wasn't one of those evoscan cables that doesnt have a license for ecuflash. Did the driver update solve your problem?

I am going to try it tonight after work. I'll keep you guys posted. One thing that was happening yesterday was every time I plugged in the USB to my computer there would be a pop up saying Windows does t recognize the USB port. Not sure what's going on.

Is there anyway to fix that? I believe I bought mine through EvoScan and works fine with ecuflash 1.43 and below I believe but anything newer it won't. So I just use EvoScan to read and write and works fine.

Im not sure about that one, sounds like what your doing is working though. You can still use ecuflash to work with your rom and then evoscan to write it. I think it has to do with the hardware in the cable itself, you could pop over to the tactrix forum and try asking there, or open up a ticket on evoscan's website.

Sounds like a driver problem, also the cables are known to go bad from time to time. If updating the software doesn't fix the problem, try it on another computer. If its the same result its probably a shot cable.

Thats what I've been doing, just hate moving back and forth between programs to simply change a setting in the ECU. I'll try opening a ticket with them but it's been years now.

Yeah, that would be a driver problem on your computer. Google how to repair drivers on your specific model computer before plugging anything else into the USB port.

Ok so I talked to my tuner and he told me that he didn't cancel any o2 sensors. So I disconnected the battery and reset all the monitors. I drove the car for about 80 miles and all the other monitors completed except the two here. This is stupid. What should I do? Amd on top of all of this my tacteix cable doesn't even work

Do the obd force patch and you won't have to worry about that stuff.
Edit: missed the part where you said your cable isn't working. Did you ever try on EvoScan?

Some of the older 1.3u cables that were sold by EvoScan don't have the right serial number embedded into the cables hardware which won't allow it to work on anything newer then Ecuflash 1.29. If you have EvoScan you can flash the ECU with that. Do all the work on Ecuflash and then save it as a hex file into EvoScan rom folder.
