Wing won't come off

Hey all, just got an 05 evo the other day and it's awesome. I tried to take the wing off because the clear coat is fading and I got all nuts and bolts off minus the driver side bolt towards the rear of the car. The bolt is super rusty and just spins but doesn't loosen. I got all of the glue off too so I'm positive this is the culprit to the wing not coming off..
Has anyone had experience with their wing being stuck on because of stripped threads? I tired to look around and I haven't found anything. I don't care if I have to cut the bolt off, I'm more worried about messing up my trunk paint.
Any help is much appreciated

The stud is probably rotted out inside from moisture... https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...y-bracket.html

That's a thread on fixing the bracket once you get the wing off. Good luck!

Thanks for that. Any idea how you would go about taking off the wing if that stud is rotted out?

I would probably hack it off with a dremel and cutoff wheel. Shouldn't take but a minute to buzz it in half

Try using fishing line. Mine had glue holding it as well as the bolts. U can also use thin rope or floss.
