Clutch question slight rattle

5So everything on the EVO is new to me when i am in neutral i have a rattle from my transmission a very noticeable one the sound completely goes away if i push the clutch to the floor or half way point even the sound is not there, if i am driving no other clutch issue no slipping no nothing a little bit of chatter when starting from a stop in the morning when cold. I'm not 100% sure if its a stock clutch but I'm guessing no but here is the funny thing if while sitting in neutral if i pump the clutch a couple of times the sound pretty much goes away or is very faint till i push the clutch in all the way again i don't even need to pump it all the way to the floor the half way point will kill the sound..

First i thought it was a slight motor knock but its not as soon as i push the pedal to the floor it goes silent i was thinking maybe throw out bearing is rattling around or something lol maybe gear rattle if it is gear rattle will a fluid change help.
Maybe clutch adjustment ?

Likely no problem. Pretty sure most of our clutches do the same. Slight noise, rattle, at idle, in neutral.

When depressing the clutch, the rattle goes away. Something to do w/the throwout bearing & its normal operation

Ya it's weird I can get the sound to go away if I pump the clutch a couple of times while in neutral it almost goes silent I've also noticed the warmer it is or the longer I drive it the quieter it gets

You might have a twin disc clutch... they are known for their chatter/ noise. Should be able to tell by looking through the inspection plate or one of the other holes in the bell housing.

My twin disc only chatters when the clutch is in so I'm not sure that's the case here, but it's certainly worth checking in the inspection ports.

Ya I'm going to get it up on some stands this week and look in the inspection plate the thing that's weird is if I pump the clutch 2/3 times and let off it the sound goes away then comes back when I push it in again and let off it almost like I bleed something when I pump it and it puts pressure against whatever is rattling under there
