Damn Spark plug _ Which to use _

It shouldn't be a hard decision, but I keep seeing different reviews on which plug to use on our cars. I have an EVO 8, 450 AWHP, it is time it replace the plugs, I am thinking of continuing the route of BR7ES - should I look at getting a colder plug, or continue this plug with .020 gapping. Have any people had better luck with a different plug?

You should be running bPr7es. Gapped at .020". As far as running a colder plug, each setup and tune is different. You need to read the plug.

BPR7ES are great, and gapped around 20. I also tried the BR7ES (non protruded tip) but ended up back with the BPR. Great plug, available locally, it really IS an easy decision.

I accidentally got BR's, once....they caused misfire when in boost. Switched back to BPR's and all was good, and still is...

As everyone stated bpr7s have never failed me on 8s.

Since I own a 9, I get screwed over and get to shell out $50 for plugs

I'm running Denso Iridium IKH24s on my Evo IX with full bolt ons. They've worked well for me so far, about 12,000 miles on them.

This is a questions that you should direct to your tuner. I know if I switched my plugs after getting tuned my tuner would kick my ***.

I would recommend NGK BPR8EIX gapped at .020"

I prefer the laser Iridiums to copper.
