If the motor has the supporting mods (pump, injectors, exhaust, intake, boost control, fuel & of course, the tune) for sure its safe

Been on 27psi (E85) for 6 years (stock internals)

I'm around there on 93 octane. Tuned a little rich with more timing. It's possible depending if your tuner can do it.

Lots a variables. It can be done depending on the set up, tune, and what type of fuel you're running.

I ran a stock 8 turbo at 26psi, tuned on 93, with supporting mods. Never had any issues, it was a blast.

ill be getting tuned this Friday @ CBRD from Chad, looking to run 25-26 psi with mods in sig. From what I read and discussed you can safely run 26psi. Thing is if you brutally beat the car then I can see it not being good, however I somewhat daily my Evo and mostly drive normal you can say lol, but do love to tear up an on ramp here and there.

Its more about the tune and how you run the car. A stock everything street tune might boost to ~26 then taper down to ~23 up top. A stock everything track tune would be more conservative (since it has to account for higher expected egt's).

No way I would run a stock evo at a flat 26psi on pump gas for a 20min track session.

I agree, if your going to track your car then its most likely not safe ive seen most run around 23-22. However street tune you can run up to 26 since you'll mostly be "cruising" and ya know obeying traffic laws lol. But maybe you'll need to pass someone or see a nice on ramp and you can rip it with no issues, that being said tho that the tuner knows what hes doing.

Really? On 91? Are you running meth or something? At that point the turbo must be pushing so much hot air I can't even see the few extra Psi being worth it.

no meth or nothing it puts down 320~330 to the wheels, and this set up was from the previous owner., im guessing he wanted big numbers when tuned to 85 since he said it just needs a tune,i hit 27 pounds and kept going back and forth from 26 to 27..on a cold night it does 28 to 27

sorry for wall of text
