In all honesty, if you are just trying to keep your car stock, the tune would probably be more beneficial. You will get better fuel economy, more power, and be better overall. That is just my opinion.

there will definately be a tune nxt yr. Its pointless to tune this year because i will take the car off the road in a few weeks. RIght now just get an exhaust to make a little noise for the rest of the summer. But i totally agree, tune is the best option. Just right now its not logical to do. My tuner is usually backed up a few weeks (Jeff Evans). By the time i could even make an appointment I would prolly be taking the car off insurance anyways lol.

i wanted to run 10 40 , i went to the store and theres no 5qt jugs of it for castrol edge. So im gona just run 10 30. After seeing the motor oil weight poll. It seems like most members here run 10 30 as their weight.

i ended up not buyin the evo. It was a bag of crap. Car had rust on the trunk where the spoiler is bolted on. There was rust on the rear driver panel. The motor had a small tap or knock by the timing cover. Something was wrong with the motor. Just walked away. Went to see 2 other evos that were listed in the area just to hear the engine to see if thats what they sounded like. the other 2 were quiet and sounded healthy. But they each had issues that I walked away from

Hey guys just an update here. I ended up finding a 03 stock evo with 16k miles on it. I put my exhaust on it. I added an ets intake, and ets catted test pipe. I'm adding a Invidia DP next week. It's been sitting most of the winter. I put maybe 60 miles on it with the mods. My tune is set for March 25th
