Violent Jerk shifting 1st to 2nd under WOT

Under full throttle, when i shift from 1st to second the car jerks really hard making a loud un-pleasent thud noise.
Any ideas as what it could be?
Car is 2001 evo 7.

Thanks

I could tell you that my car does very much the same when I shift at my quickest. I just have to learn to be smoother. But yeah, it's like a ledge hammer to the back sometime.

Its most likely the rear diff mounts. Its very common. Change them out and the thunk will be gone. I went with torque solutions inserts and they work for me.

Still have it looked at. The mustache bar bushings are common to tear. It could be normal or you could have a torn bushing problem.

My 1g dsm does the same thing. Its got a vicious lsd diff

mine does this but in my case its my fuel filler neck it can be wobbled freely by hand so when driving aggressively it moves n hit against the subframe of inner rear arch.
