My car seems to not want to go into second gear unless I am making a turn then go into 2nd. If I drive straight it doesn't want to go into 2nd without some force.

All other gears are fine.

Just did a clutch job, all OEM parts about 1.5 years ago and less than 1k miles ago.

 

Thats really add, did you connect the shift linkage correctly on top of the transmission? I would double check, make sure its not lose and that everything is how it was when you took it off.
