fuel pump issues?

Your welcome, ill try and upload the related factory service manual pages regarding testing the resistor when I get home this evening. The resistor itself is on the firewall right next to the fuel injector resistor. I believe its the one with only 2 wires.

Ok once again Idk **** about electricity so I'm posting a pic of the tool that I used and pointed to the measurement that best seemed to fit. I tried it in all measurements. All others gave me 0 reading but this one says .8 which if it's the right one according to the service manual photo you posted up its bad. In the service manual photo you posted it says (20c - 68f). I'm guessing this means to measure when the weather or engine bay is at this temp? It's 85f outside right now here where I am and the car hasn't been moved in days so would that make the results be wrong? Idk. Also, it's 5:20 and the car sleeps u see carport so sun hasn't been hitting it directly. I touch the resistor box and it feels cool to the touch. What do you think biggie?

The omega symbol is ohms so you have the meter set correctly in your picture. What I would do now is run the car till it hits operating temperature then take another reading. See which way it drifts and then make a determination of its bad.

Ok so I checked it and it read .8ohm and after about 3 seconds it'll drop to .7ohm and stay there. Now I did notice something. After driving it around I just turned it on and it went lean ...16.5 - 17 and after 10 - 20 second or so it'll level off at 14.8 - 15...the car is already at operating temp...it was doing this the other day too...you can hear the engine sort of trying to find its idle rpm then changes tone to its normal self when reaching 14.8 -15. Does this mean the resistor thing is bad with these readings?

If its still reading that high then it is out of spec, and at that resistance the pump wouldn't be getting as much power as it should be. Now this may not be your ultimate problem, but when troubleshooting you have to correct problems as you find them till you ultimately resolve your issue. I would suggest looking into replacing that resistor. The reason im saying it may not ultimately be the cause of your problem is because if your fuel pressure is stable while you are experiencing your high AFR's, then that would suggest it is probably something further down the chain causing the issue. Do you have any way of monitoring your fuel trims (Openport cable)?
Edit: .7 is pretty close to spec, it could be within the margin of error of your meter. I would probably try and verify the reading with another meter before replacing.
