is this a boost leak

hey guys, so today when i went around 50% throttle and once the boost passes 0.8 bar (11.6 psi) i can still hear the spool and the boost reading in the gauge rises but the engine goes quiet and the car stops pulling.

please help, thanks in advance

doesn't sound like it. were you full throttle?

could be ecu retarding your timing for many different reasons

im stuck between the cas and the leads, that might be causing the problem, any idea how i can identify which one it is

Did you do a boost leak test? I heard those are the best for identifying boost leaks.

I agree, make you self a little boost leak tester gadget so you can test you full system for boost leaks. IMO anyone with any boosted car should have one of these and do the test every so ofter.

I made one out of a can of beans and a tire valve stem but here is another good cheap way to make it: how-boost-leak-tester for $5
