If your car cut off and if the key is remove but the windows still work.. can that make the battery go dead

 

I may have the same issue. My windows roll up & down regardless if the key is in or out or in the ACC position
Yet, its never affected my battery

 

There's a 30 second timer that begins counting when the ignition is turned to off. During that 30 seconds or until either of the front doors is opened the windows and the sun roof may be operated.

In real life it works like this - I park the car and turn off the ignition. Then I reach up to close the sunroof. About half way through its cycle my wife opens her door.
