Hey guys,

Having some issues with my AC clutch.
checked the fuses, they're all good.
Wiring seems to be good from what I can tell.

Opened the clutch, took the spacer out to see if it makes a difference, still nothing.
I have a small fan on the car that the guy before me put on.. doesnt seem to go on.

A member on the forum has a new compressor and everything, but I want to make sure this one is busted before buying..

The car originally had two fans.

 

not sure if this car has a low freeon switch but i know some cars have it where if its low on freeon the switch makes it so the clutch doesnt engage

 

It does. When I encountered this same symptom two summers ago the first thing I did was take the car to a shop and have all the refrigerant pulled and then refilled with the proper amount and with dye. Now, I could trouble shoot the electrical or mechanical system myself and also look for leaks without having to wonder if the charge was correct - $125.
