My first engine warning light :-/

Hi guys, well my ix has run flawlessly since I bought it 2years ago, it has a Ecutek programed ECU so I have never played with it, minor mods only. On theweekend I had my first engine warning light. When I started it in the morning Inoticed the idle revs were up around 1200rpm and when I took it out for a runthe engine light came on orange and stayed on.

Ok, I don’t have a OBD2 scanner so is there something I cando visually to check to try and find the fault before I take it to someone??

Also I have a track day in 2 weeks, is the carsafe to drive around, it runs fine and except for the high idle

thanks for any help

If you don't have a scanner stop by AutoZone or a auto parts store that will check it for you. See what it is before you head out to the track

+1 for the autoparts store. You have to get it scanned.

I miss my Honda days, where we could just jump a plug and count the number of flashes LOL.

What, not using the flash method? I was waiting to hear how many flashes indicates a "P".

I used this except with a 6 dollar bluetooth dongle. Works like a charm. My torque app even picked up a permanent code that ym 200 dollar bosch didnt pick up!
