Where does this ground go?

I took my acd ecu out and when putting it back in I noticed this ground wire by the passenger footwell that's near the acd ecu not connected to anything. I know the acd has a ground wire bolted right under it but not sure if this other ground was supposed to be where the acd ecu ground was. The circular thing on the ground end where you would normally attach it to a screw and the chassis also somehow broke so just not sure if it's super important.

Any input appreciated, thanks!

Car makers don't hire engineers to design miscellaneous unneeded grounds.

If you can figure it out, the ground can go back where it came from. But where you connect it doesn't matter so long as it makes a good electrical connection to the body.

It needs to be grounded. Crimp a new eyelet onto it and ground it.

You're all right. I just needed someone to tell me it needs to be grounded right now. Just grounded it where the ACD ecu ground was.

That's probably where it was, and the eyelet broke while you were pulling the ECU out.
