Evo 8 5 speed to 6 speed mr swap help parts

Hey i did search the forums but mostly all the info is the swap from 6 speed to 5 speed.
I am trying to make sure i have all the parts for the swap from 5 speed to mr 6 speed

so far what i know is i need the
- 6 speed tranny
- 6 speed shifter and cables
- transmission harness for 6 speed
- harness for reverse switch 6 speed
- reverse switch or solenoid? For 6 speed
- 6 speed tranny mount
- lower clutch line
- cable bracket (trans side)

Am i missing anything? Or does anyone have exact part list for the swap? Thanks

You're missing the fact that you're installing a weaker transmission in your car...

It's all the same parts you swap out for the 5spd. I don't remember needing to change the harness for the reverse switch, specifically. just the trans harness itself. You can tweak the hardline for the slave cylinder, so don't need to change it, though you may need the bracket that the hard/soft line union attaches to...? It's been a while. I'd have to go back and look LOL. Other than that, I think your list is accurate. When I bought my 6spd, I got a bunch of extra stuff. I can take a look at what I have, if you need any. I think I have the cables, shifter, trans bracket.. maybe some other stuff.

Not sure what you are trying to achieve with the swap.

I had this same goal for a short time. For me I was thinking that with my 1 hour commute on 70mph speed limit highway that I might save some mpg. Why would I research such a thing? I realized that at above 65mph speeds I am generating enough boost with the base map and stock powertrain that my mpg would be greatly impacted. So I commute at about 65mph most times which feels like a death wish in Michigan so often I am up at 70 to avoid road ragers. After doing the math on the ratios I came to realize that I would only drop about 200rpm at the same speed with the 6 speed trans.

Given my research notes it reads that you should have all that you need.

MPG is not a good reason to want a 6spd trans, I agree. I have mine for other reasons that are more important than MPG, but that's just me.
