Evo details:
$16,000
2006 Evo9 SE Black
127,500 miles
CA car its whole life
Clean title
No accidents
2 owners...of which the 1st owner was a ASE certified technician who kept it the first 107,000 miles then the 2nd owner was the first owners friend, the 2nd owner was the one to do the mods.
Thanks to everyone on this forum, this forums was a treasure trove of information...despite the slowly shrinking numbers of evo owners in general and evo owners that actually go on forums haha.

Thanks Sean! I'm already way ahead of you I ordered up some binary seat lowering brackets, works bell steering hub, and sparco champion steering wheel (stock momo grips were falling apart). I'll probably create a build thread once those all come in so I can document everything.

You can also sometimes get a decent deal if willing to travel quickly after finding a car and building a little trust. I purchased 3 EVO's all 03 and 04 and had to fly and drive a long way and risk a wasted trip but each time made the purchase and was happy. One thing to do is make sure they have the title or the bank is open and all that stuff. One purchase took 8 hours because he couldn't find the title. Another was a mess as I didn;t take a cashier's check.

I think you can find what you are looking for in the $13K range. I had mine listed at that and did not sell. But when I looks all over the internet before I priced it I saw several under 125,000 miles for that range.

Congrats on the evo it looks really clean, you got a great deal! I am glad you stayed away from salvage and rebuilt, because you'd be married to that car and never would re-sell it. I've seen some on DC craigslist salvaged that have been there for a year! I sold 3 evo's i had in less than a month
