Hi everyone. I’m new to this. So please bare with me.
I have inherited a problem and need help. My 2004 Evo has quite a history of repairs to keep it running. The most recent being the #8 fuse. Once this was replaced the car seemed to run ok. It will not start and is currently on a trickle charger until I know where to take it to. The last shop has went out of business. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi. Yes, it is trying to start but doesn’t. I had read in a different thread that the #8 fuse had to do with the engine, but that was for an Evo 9 so I’m not sure if it is all that different or not. In reading your diagram it would appear it has to do with the ignition.
I’m located in Illinois just across the river from St. Louis. If anyone know of a shop within a 50 mile radius to take it to, that would be great. Is this something a local garage can do? The car has been modified by Boostin in Hoffman Estates, IL. My appt to get the car in their shop isn’t until late June and it is about 250 miles away from where I live. I would like to get the car running again and sell it.
