That wasnt my case. I must be the odd ball haha. I wanted an AWD car that was a manual. Choices were - Subi that will blow up or an Evo that I really didnt hear much bad stuff about besides being expensive to fix. Prior to Evohood, I was an old school muscle car guy that was tired of working on my car every time I wanted to drive it. I have only had one Honda (s2k) and a few Nissans. Everything else was good'ol american muscle.

Good to hear! Yeah i don't drive the evo near or around DC (Arlington, Mclean, Tyson's Corner) as it just draws too much attention both positive and negative. I'm down for a meet if there is one. Riding season is pretty much over with so I'm storing my KLX250 before it gets too cold. I used to go to Moore's automotive quite a bit way back in the day but haven't been there in ages. Still on an old tune they dyno'ed for me. I'm also not as much of a horsepower junky as I used to be although, 430awhp is still pretty quick I just prefer cruising moreso now.

The X's are going up in value too. For a brief period in time, I think they were fairly abundant. The 4B11's and their aluminum blocks are (from what i've head) is making decent power and people are starting to realize that now while weighting much less than a 4g63.

That's true. Although I feel like the X is comfortable being a little heavier because it facilitates a comfort need for young people are just starting to grow their family with kids. The 8/9's probably the more serious enthusiast's choice so each has their place although I wouldn't trade my pristine 8 for a pristine X but that's just my own personal preference.

ive driven the X and it was not for me. I’ll stick with my IX. I do have a friend that preferred a IX but ended up with a X because of cost.

I actually drove mine today. But I saw no Evos. I didn't even see an Evo X.

I see more X’s on the road than VIII/IXs. Definitely becoming more rare as the costs go up or more cars become garage queens

Really? The last time I saw an X's was 3 months ago. Haven't seen one recently.

Down here in south FL, you are lucky to even see a X. I drive my IX all the time, and for almost a year now have not seen another evo 8/9. I THINK I might've seen an X a few months ago. They just seem rare down here.

Am I the only one who daily drives a 9? Maybe I shouldn't but it's just so fun.
