Just to give you an example of how ridiculous people are, ill give you a real life story that happened to me...

I sold my 04 acura rsx base auto a few months ago
bone stock, 85k miles. Mechanically flawless. Plenty of sun burn fade on the clear and minor dings.
similar cars were going for 6-8k on all the major car selling websites. NADA and KBB had clean retail somewhere around 4k. I had a few people offer 2-3k because it "needed a paint job". (Didnt need it, would just look better with fresh paint).
I dont know how many goofballs i got telling me its worthless because of the faded paint. One guy went as far as telling me that he would give me 1k for it, i didnt even reply and blocked his number. I ended up getting 5k for it after about a month for sale. I had bought it for 7k at 61k miles and it gave me 2 years of trouble free driving.

My point is anytime you sell a car, or anything really, theres always lowballers lined up to offer money they dont even have. Along with the people who just want to point out the defects just to drop 25-50 percent of the price. If you are lucky, youll get that guy who knows what he wants, and its exactly what you are selling, and is happy to pay your asking price or close to it.

ugh, i dont know why i read these threads lol.

We all hope to get the buyer that is willing to pay anything for what they want. The trick is to sell the car when you don't really need to. That way you can wait as long as it takes.

Guess we shall see what people think this thing is worth.

Lowest 9 was sold on BaT for $13.5 and the highest was $39,501. The median is somewhere in the low to mid 20s for a well advertised car

Back onto the steak thing, yeah, i can confirm that it's almost (if not more) double what it used to be. I smoke a lot brisket every year and a solid 14lb brisket would only run me about $30 and feed at least 10 people with the general hotdog, burger, potato salad etc etc.

Did a brisket a week ago. It was $70 for 10 pounds and only comfortable fed 7. So yes, prices are way up idk why.

Back into the Evo thing...I've spoke to a number of STI guys who wished they had an Evo or maybe they're being nice but I do find myself seeing more and more and MORE STI's on the road now. People in the STI world really wants the bug eye and hawk eyes now and are willing to pay up for the same thing. Prices for the evo-era STI's are around that $15-20k area.

I'm looking at selling my IX right now. It's an electric blue one with 78k and I listed it on Autotrader for $32k. I doubt I will get that but it would be nice.

I've been considering becoming vegetarian, after seeing these prices And I've also noticed the prices of Subarus going up. anything made 2000-2006ish is definitely becoming more in demand. I think they are some of the best cars made, so I can see why. But I'm biased.. three of my cars are '00-07 LOL. When I get an SUV it will be also.

You should advertise it in Canada

I wonder if the guy posting above was quoting USD or Canadian.

I paid $32k back in 2018 for my 9 MR SE. Had 32k miles, 100% bone stock, mint interior and exterior, one owner, no accidents, all maintenance records.
