Glad it was a simple fix. Add it to the list of failed Omni map sensors lol. Surprised you didn't throw any codes for this. I had these exact symptoms when my Omni 4 bar map went bad but I got a code for a MAF error/malfunction, dont remember exactly.

 

Sometime they don't go bad "enough" to get a code. Just enough to make the car run like *** or not start.

 

Maybe I should swap my 3bar for good measure. It's a good three years old, I think.

 

Just buy a spare. You might have a good one and it would suck remove it lol

But if you're running a 3bar you could just go to a JDM 3bar. You'll prob have to retune the car because different scaling. But it's dead reliable.

 

So i checked for errors today and i am now getting

Code P2228 Barometric pressure circuit low input

From the searching i have done on here that is related to MAF ( I am on Speed Density so have an IAT, could that have gone bad ) and others say even crank angle sensor. Any suggestions before i go buying new parts ?

 

Agreed the Omni kicked my *** earlier in the year.

I Provided symptoms, Proof of ownership/purchase and Omni sent a new one to me.

And it resolved the issue 👍

 

You have an Omni 4 bar installed? I think this is the exact code I was getting when my Omni failed.

 

Yes i do but i carried her to a shop and they switched to a new one and she still wouldn't start but then again they said they didn't find any codes, so ill switch one out soon.
