Hi, purchased an Evolution 7 GT-A recently and need to replace the oem fabric pipes for the radiator hoses. Looking at upgrading instead of replacing but when I go onto multiple sites like Mishimoto and Injen and talked to their rep, they said they won't guarantee fitment for an Evo 7 because its not tested by them (most adds for intake kits say EVO 8 / 9, but not 7). I'm pretty sure that it would bolt right on, but having them say they won't guarantee the product fitment made me question if it might not fit. Also with the kit comes the Short ram intake with stock MAF adapter. If i instal the short ram and do a fog light delete with airflow redirected to the filter will it compensate for the fact it's located in the upper portion of the engine bay, where the air is warmer and not as dense? The top fabric lined tube in the back of that upper radiator hose is starting to come apart and I don't want to run the risk of pieces going into anything.

Add pics of your current set up so the smart guys(not me) can offer advice. If it's the same someone will chime in. Either way pics are needed to help you.
Top radiator hose is the same but the lower pipe is different for the GT-A, as the transmission is a different shape. It has a different part number from the factory (MR968739). The 7 has a different fit to 8 and 9's for aftermarket air filters as well, but I think its more kits designed for the 7's may not fit 8/9s as they relocated a sensor onto the radiator after the 7.
Ok cool, thanks, I noticed the hoses in the diagrams were different but I wanted to be sure that the entry and exit locations are in the same spots on the actual unit
