Please Help! Turbo Oil line to head will not connect 03 evo
Hello everyone I’m new here, have always searched for my issues but this one I’ll have to post for. My car is an 03 evo Viii
So anyway, I recently fixed an exhaust leak at the Exhaust mani to turbo manifold housing. I reinstalled everything including exhaust mani and when I was finishing up I ran into a problem.
i have an 71hta char with a evo 9 hotside and the oil line from the turbo which uses a banjo bolt is about a 1/4 inch off from lining up to fit the bolt through on the head!
i have tried everything from prying to pulling it up with pliers, loosening my down pipe bolts to give it play and removing the lower intercooler pipe from the turbo. I was able to do everything without dropping my down pipe by just loosening the bolts because I cannot remove one of the spring bolts as it is so tight at the end of its threads it is now starting to round off 😩 however it will tighten up again fine.
I can not remove the line support bracket because it is rounding off even though I’ve never taken it off before ☹️ And I’ve tried loosening the other banjo on the turbo itself to try and get them both started with no luck!
I'm thinking about towing it to a shop or calling a mobile mechanic, but before I do any help would be greatly appreciated! Has anyone had this issue before?

8s and 9s had different lines, you'll either need to put some effort into bending it or buy the 9 lines. I managed to bend mine fine.
You also may want to make sure you have the 9 j-pipe as I've heard of some people using the 8 and having it short out on the starter.

Incase anyone needs it. OEM Evo 9 Turbo oil feed pipe: https://stmtuned.com/products/turbo-...line-oem-evo-9
