I have an EVO 8 2004. The problems started with that I had to start the car with the foot on the gaspedal since I had no idle. That was cause by an faulty IACV. So I changed that to an https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MITSUBISH...QAAOSwhdZaUqBh
Once I installed that one and turn on the engine I had idle again. But instead of no idle I now have about 2200rpm.
I have not touched any BISS screw.
Instead I bought EvoScan 1.3U universal USB Datalogging and reflashing cable and Evoscan software. I also downloaded ECUflash.
Is there any guide out there how to tune this IACV steppermotor? Or can someone help me step by step? Cause I have no luck with this at the moment.

 

Those cheap motors are junk, step one should be getting a decent replacement. Either get an OEM unit or check out this thread for a possible substitute https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...lets-talk.html .

Check the other thread, there is a knock off version on Ebay that will work, it looks VERY similar to the OEM one. The ones that look considerably different will not work, and even if it does will not last long.
