do you suffer from performance anxiety?
Nah not that type
Look it's been 8 months since my final tune from a full build and I've been on a road track three times since, the first time the car was over boosting and cutting out, the tuner fixed it remotely, the second time the o2 dump got lose and the down pipe came lose too, probably extra vibration from balancer deletes, I've fixed that with nordlocks and safety wiring, the third time I had the LICP blow off twice and a couple of vac hoses blow off from the top of the intake mani, that's all locked down tight now. So I'm at 26.5 psi and torque of 477nm. I'm also running the 6 speed. So I know I'm under the golden 400 lb ft torque that people say the 4th gear can handle but now I'm just feeling so much more torque build at 3k and maxing out between 3.7 to 4.6k. It feels great for just cruising cause you really don't need to be on boost all the time to go fast but that feel of extra torque coming on so strong gives me anxiety that if I hit it too hard something in the gearbox is going to break. Soon it will be the colder months and I'm not feeling like taking it on the track and going full power now.
Has anyone experienced this before and how can I overcome it?
