Hello guys, I’m a young fella who lives in Hamilton, New Zealand. Was wondering if anyone has an obd2 scanner because my car engine light comes on and off and tries cutting it self out and it’s stressing me out! Was just wondering if anyone around me has a scanner to help me out.

 

You can get them for less than $50 pretty much anywhere. It's a good investment and good tool to have sitting around regardless of what you drive.

 

Don't bother with a super cheap basic scanner it will be frustrating in the long run, get something that can read all the systems. I bought some Autel thing off Amazon for 100$CAD(like 60USD) and it does things I don't even understand which is good cause it does more than I've needed.
Or just get a Tactrix cable, you could probably get it in person living in New Zealand...and bug Hamish about releasing Evodroid APK...whatever, don't waste your money on a super basic reader unless maybe a OBD dongle and Torque.
